Susan Tuohy exceeded all of my expectations over the last six months both in buying a new home and selling a rental property. When buying my home, Susan was extremely well-prepared, organized and professional. She had done exhaustive research and could answer any of my questions about any of the properties. As a result, we found the perfect property the first day looking! The deal was rather complicated since it involved a contingency on the sale of my previous home but Susan handled all the details with ease and confidence.
The other opportunity I had working with Susan was on the sale of a rental property. The house was in terrible condition and Susan helped me pick out the perfect paint colors and carpet at an extremely affordable price. Her advice was invaluable and the house looked brand new when we were done. We got a contract for the full asking price, however; the deal was fraught with issues from the buyer. Susan was diligent about following up with the other realtor and developing creative solutions regarding the numerous problems the buyer was encountering. We closed on the house last week and I couldn’t have been happier with Susan’s performance. I can honestly say, I have never had to call,email or text Susan more than once with a question because she was always so prompt in getting back to me! People erroneously believe that buying a house is always fun, but we know differently. My husband & I are, at best, difficult clients for any realtor mostly because we desire opposite features in a house. When we decided to move to Jacksonville, we were both adamant that this move would be our last, and therefore, we planned to search for a house we both loved.
